The "Yellowstone" Gus Hat

The Yellowstone boasts a slightly taller crown than the Montana gus, with relaxed pencil curl and a slightly flatter brim, for more sun protection. I love this hat for slimmer faces. First we start with the best felt money can buy, and spend hours shaping and finishing it to perfection. These are the finest cowboy hats in the West! A blend of Natural Beaver felt and Wild European Hare or Pure Beaver that will wear well for years. Unlike store bought hats with no beaver content, these hats will hold their shape for years and are very easy to maintain. Beaver Fur has the ability to shed water and is barbed, having the ability to interlock when ironed and steamed.

These are offered "Ranch Worn" with distressing and stain. Or clean and new. You choose! The Montana Slope or Montana Gus Hat developed after years of riding in the harsh western wind, needing a more aerodynamic hat, "so they say". I just think this is the best looking Western Style going, so great on men or women! I have lowered the crown, it specs out at 5 3/4 in the back and 3 1/4 in the front. Choose a 4 or 4.5 inch brim with open front pencil curl, with a lot of shape and attitude!
