First we start with the best felt money can buy and spend hours shaping and finishing it to perfection! A Blend of natural beaver felt and wild European hare, or Pure beaver for longer wear.  We can build these in any color on the chart and beyond. If you have questions, please contact us! Unlike store bought hats with no beaver content, these hats will hold their shape and are very easy to maintain. Beaver Fur has the ability to shed water and is barbed, having the ability to interlock when ironed and steamed. So durable they can be washed, turned inside out, and rebuilt for a new life years later. Choose between a Blended felt, or Pure, pure beaver always has longer lasting quality, and is thinner, lighter and has more tensile strength! Hats take several months, as this is a custom build. Sometimes we can get them out sooner, but due to the felt manufacturers timing we cannot guarantee exact dates. Sorry there are no refunds on custom orders.
